Sprinkle both sides Ribs with Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, and Oregano. Then also sprinkle on lemon juice to both sides.
Bake in a covered pan @ 425F for 25-30 min.
Remove from oven and pour off any unwanted liquid/fat.
Greek Sauce (for 2 pkg. ribs – double or triple as necessary for more pkg ribs)
- Juice from 2 lemons (or equiv.real lemon)
- ¼ cup butter/Margine
- ¼ cup Greek or Italien dressing
- 1 ½ tbsp Oregano
- 1 tbsp. Garlic Powder
Melt together.
Oven method:
After the first bake and draining excess liquid, spoon ½ of above sauce onto the ribs. Return to slow oven (aprox. 250 – 275 F) and bake for 35 -40 min. Then turn ribs and spoon on the rest of the sauce. Bake another 45 min. ( the meat should fall off bones easily when eating)
****For a BBQ option you can do this last bake on a low to med low heat until the meat falls off the bones easily.
